I Have Changed My Life

In order to have surgery on my heel, I had to be "medically cleared" by my primary physician. Since I "fired" my primary physician last year halfway through my annual exam, I had to find a new one. Hubby helped me to find one, he'd "fired" the same group. The new doc found some really serious things in hubby's lab results that the old doc never even looked for. Obvious things. So as I was going in to get the results of my lab work a couple of weeks ago, I was really anxious. What might my old doc have neglected?

I was worried for no reason. My new doc was smiling from ear-to-ear while going through my lab results. He actually asked me if I was taking cholesterol medication, because my total cholesterol is 103, and he never sees that outside of meds. But no, I don't take any. My triglycerides--which were 372 before I met Coach JC--are now 94. Before JC I was considered pre-diabetic. Now my A1C is 5.2 which is very definitely NOT diabetic. It's normal! The doctor was astounded that at my weight--because I am still a big girl--my results would be so good. He actually mentioned how he can't wait to see what they will be when the weight is all gone!

I have changed my life.

I've been feeling different for a while now. But to see the hard facts, the proof from the lab results, it's amazing. Everything I've been doing, all the hard work, it's paying off big time.

I have changed my life.

So...what are you waiting for?
